Kennesaw, Ga. October 17, 2024 – J.S. McCarthy Packaging + Print, one of the oldest and largest packaging and commercial printers in New England, recently installed a Speedmaster XL 106 from HEIDELBERG. The new XL 106, with running speeds of 21,000 sph, is among the fastest offset presses for folding carton production in the world. Since its installation, the press has boosted J.S. McCarthy’s capacity significantly, enabling the company to grow its burgeoning folding carton business by an additional 50%.

Kennesaw, Ga. August 7, 2024 – Country Pines, a family-owned full service commercial printing company in Shoals, IN, recently installed a new Suprasetter 106 CtP from HEIDELBERG. The new Suprasetter, equipped with automated inline plate bending and Auto Pallet Loader, coupled with Prinect Production Manager, has helped increase the company’s productivity and improve throughput.

Kennesaw, Ga. July 24, 2024 – Moquin Press, one of the West Coast’s leading label and packaging providers, set a new world record producing 452,755 net sellable sheets (455,709 gross sheets) on its Speedmaster XL 106 in only 24 hours. With speeds up to 21,000 sheets per hour, Moquin’s seven-color press with inline coating, installed at its Belmont facility, is the first in the world from HEIDELBERG specially designed for label production. Central to this accomplishment were numerous press modifications tailored to meet the demands of high-performance label printers, including special sheet travel adjustments in the units and the delivery and the new fourth generation CutStar – all optimized for production of thin materials at higher speeds.
